Time to move from vegies to marsupials! (A logical segue??) Here's everyone's idea of Australia - our gentle, ubiquitous icon. Look again from a different angle. They're everywhere here in our bushy city, quietly munching.

Come oooon, a kangaroo! That is Freedom, to see kangaroos eating grass so near! No kangaroo in Belgium, except in the zoo...

@Soph: We've had drought so the 'roos like the grassy areas - sometimes there are mobs of hundreds right between the suburbs!
A different angle works very well here, I haven't seen many photographs of kangaroos that didn't involve them standing upright or jumping, complete with a wee cute baby in the pouch...

@red queen: Thanks red queen - I'm sure with imagination even corny subjects can be subverted but I have gone a bit corny in this short series ;) the animals are just too fluffy!! haha
