Thanks for visiting! cheers.. tengtan from Melbourne, AustraliaWell captured with the wave fronts forming a striking geometry in the atmospheric seascape composition. 30 Jul 2007 2:16pm @tengtan: Thanks tengtan - an interesting observation. :) @seyed: Thanks for your comment seyed! :) @Soodabeh: I'm glad you like it Soodabeh - thanks for your visit! @kairospix: Cheers! Tha sea's such a varied subject!! Thanks kairopix Markus from Reading, United KingdomNice, very detailed shot, the boat in the back adds a bit of drama to it. 30 Jul 2007 7:10pm @Markus: I got closer shots of the boat - I've posted one more - it looked so vulnerable. I was trying to shoot great gannets diving on the horizon but they were just out or range of my lens. :( red queen from Scotland, United KingdomI like the gleaming red (or pink) of the house, it turns the cool of the rest of the scene into a completely different world. 30 Jul 2007 8:18pm @red queen: The building's on a cargo warf which operated 100 years ago, and was probably a fish factory. It was going to be demolished in the 70s but the prime minister Gough Whitlam intervened. Itwas saved and painted this rather dramatic colour. The cliffs further around are golden(see tomorrow's picture) so it's a photographer's dream. Ben Boyd National park nearby has the most amazing rock colours - worth a visit if you ever fall over our edge of the world!! bm from HungaryVery dramatic! I love how the light comes down, filtered through the approaching storm clouds, the white caps of the waves and the red house. Great shot! 30 Jul 2007 9:25pm @bm: Thanks bm - there were gannets plunging into the water on the horizon too but just out of my lens range! Picture This from United StatesBreathtaking! You've got an eye for a great picture! 31 Jul 2007 12:57am @Picture This: Thanks Picture This! you're most kind! cheers. @Jürgen: Thanks Jürgen! cheers @jump: Glad you enjoyed it jump!
