I appeciate your comment! :) Rebecca from Leicester, United Kingdomlove the angle of this shot. the colours and shades really come across. 31 Jul 2007 12:18pm @Rebecca: I'm pleased that you like it Rebecca - it's really my favourite coastal area in the south east - cheers Phil from Therwil, SwitzerlandRealy like the color spectrum of that shot and that lighter spot in the middle that draws the attention to the center! 31 Jul 2007 6:25pm @Phil: Thanks Phil - kind of you to visit! kairospix from Singapore, Singaporesomehow this reminds me of a loaf of bread... :) 1 Aug 2007 12:55pm @kairospix: It does look a bit like a yeasty loaf haha I think you'd need big teeth Thanks for dropping by kairospix @Markus: Hhi Markus! Thanks - I took lots of reflections from this cliff in the sandy shore but probably won't post - it's time to do other topics I think.. @Dave Mac: Glad you enjoyed them - thanks Dave cheers! Tommy from St. Leonard, United StatesThis shot definitely keeps your eye. I know for me, its because the scale of these is not clear, even with the bushes. They are just far enough away to still not solve how large the rocks are. Great comp and color. Contrast would likely bring the colors of the rocks and foliage out, it appears a little gray to me. Great shot! 4 Aug 2007 1:10pm @Tommy: I kept the scale unclear on purpose to keep people guessing. The nature of Australian flora's a bit different to most places - our trees and bushes tend towards olive greens, grays, soft tertiaries and more muted colours. @jump: Thanks jump - it's in the same area as "Splash" and the rocks there are something to see!! So many different hues cheers Bron Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesI find this one oddly compelling --I guess it's the earth tones and the lighting. 20 Sep 2007 1:51pm @Twelvebit: I'm pleased to have compelled you Twelvebit :)) |
