@Soph: Yes it's a bit long otherwise! Thanks Soph - I paint in most media nowdays - it seems very like photogrpahy to me - the same principles apply in tone, colour, balance etc so what I learn in one medium bounces across to the other! great fun! :)
@Shahab: I was happy with the colours too Shahab - I thought I'd experiment with that style and found on old iron that seemed just right as a model!

Thank you for your very welcoming invites to come visit down under. I'd really like to take up your offer but will need to persuade Jeff first - I have been trying to for a few years now (!) (personally I've visited Perth and Sydney in younger days and liked both, but have yet to venture to any other parts of your vast country! Jeff has yet to touch ground at all down under despite having several relatives living there *-) ). May take several more years yet (it is tricky with his work schedule being the way it is, and our tending to use up his long leave for packed trips home to S'pore/M'sia), but will certainly keep your kind invites (and very beautiful pics!) in mind..
