you may want to try a slower shutter speed to get a more silky effect :)

@kairospix: Thanks kairospix - I took this last year with my old camera which was pretty much automatic - my new one's fully manual & I have more control so will experiment more - thanks for the tip.
@jump: It's a wonderful creek cutting its way through granite with deep pools for swimming after a tropical walk. A great treat!
@tyan: Yes tyan - we saw one in a deep pool just below this little fall. It came up to us as if it was used to being fed
@Lorraine: It was the clearest creek I've ever been to - and indeed it bubbled very sweetly Lorraine!

Wonderful textures! The ripples and shadows are beautifully caught with lovely detail in the foam. Great pic!

I forgot to say too, that you captured the water perfectly...it's not easy to photograph a flow so good for you. Also this morning, I've been reading ABOUT the photographers on aminus 3 and I just found out you're a girl! LOL

@Lost Valley: Indeed that's what we did Lost Valley - it's on the hinterland in mid Queensland a tropical forest with the cool creek flowing through. at the end of the walk it was VERY welcome!!
