Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesA definitely impressive shot; an eye-catcher! The reflective surface the eggs are on -- is it aluminum foil? 19 Aug 2007 11:24am @Viewfinder: You got it in one Viewfinder! I was setting up an idea for a painting and this is the result. Well spotted! @Shahab: Your comment is very welcome Shahab - thanks! :) Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomI actually find the tones and textures here very celebratory. :) Reminds me of an 'old' Chinese tradition which I like very much - parents celebrate the birth of their child by giving gifts of eggs (dyed in red, though! personally I think your colours here are much lovelier, Bron :) ) to their relatives and friends (nowadays the eggs tend to get replaced by round cakes, but personally i like the eggs better :) ) when the baby turns a month old, an occasion dubbed the "full month" of the baby. 19 Aug 2007 12:26pm @Rebecca: What a lovely celebration for a new baby Rebecca! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the picture so much. Thanks for your thoughtfulness which helps me to fulfil my potential by encouragement! @LuisRodrigues: Thanks Luis!
