I think it's time to reveal the deep secret! I took the picture in a garden centre - it was of a bowl of water with a mist maker in it, I cropped the shot heavily to focus on the patterns. "The Mist maker utilises electrical oscillation at ultrasonic frequencies. The ceramic changes electrical oscillation into mechanical oscillation, which creates the mist and water spray that rises out of virtually any water container or vessel." Simple when you know!! lol @stijn: Hi stijn! I took the picture in a garden centre - it was of a bowl of water with a mist maker in it, I cropped the shot heavily to focus on the patterns. bronzebilly u.k. from cardiff, United Kingdomhey Bron I knew that I just didn't want to say earlier and spoil it all;-))(yeah right)--billy 23 Aug 2007 10:31am @bronzebilly u.k.: Glad you didn't give it away Bbilly - I can trust you still!! Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesSo that's how those things work!!! I have a smoke machine that I used for a photo shoot I did last summer. It was a pain, it smelled bad and it kept blowing the internal fuses. I thought it was going to burn the house down! 28 Aug 2007 11:13pm @Laurie: Yikes!! This one being in a shop might have burned it down but thank goodness not while I was there!!! lol Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesGreat shot, I was going to guess mist maker in some kind of garden center or something, then I saw you had the explanation.
