@Organik: Thanks Organic mum your visit is very welcome. Take care! Bron @Vanessa: Thanks Vanessa - I love colour but sometimes going without is good for us :)) @badala: Very high praise indeed badala - thanks very much! cheers Bron @Silvia: Thanks Silvia!! :)) @Craiger: Thanks Craiger - you're very kind! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaYou are indeed a Duchess...very regal photo :) Love it! 18 Sep 2007 11:03am @Lorraine: Thanks for the promotion Lorraine! I'll try to live up to my new title lol!! Do I get a castle?? Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandNice portret, like the b&W but ... I miss the top of his nose ... must be painful! :)) 18 Sep 2007 11:50am @Monique: Thanks Monique - I appreciate your thoughts. it was a deliberate choice. Odd I know, but I enjoy playing around with different framings and I liked this one... it's symbolic of the subject being more than what's in the frame - I need the viewer to imagine his "tip" !! :)) jen from Alpharetta, United StatesWhat a very moody profile...I can imagine the notes and melody swimming around in his head 18 Sep 2007 3:30pm @jen: Great jen - that's what I hope for. When he was small I took him to the movies once and afterwards asked how he enjoyed it - he looked stunned and said - "I don't know - I was writing music!!" @jump: thanks jump! @HorseRotorVator: Hey HRV - glad you like it! :) Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomAbsolutely gifted shot, Bron!! Amazing in b&w, and really like the focus on the ear actually…certainly evokes the sense that the one way we could get inside his mind is through there!! :) 18 Sep 2007 8:03pm @Rebecca: Gifted is just too kind Rebecca - mind you I love it!! haha Thanks! And your comment and focus on his ear is interesting because a s a musician it's his favourite sense! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomGreat toning, and with the title and image caption I see why you got so close up. Good shot 18 Sep 2007 10:38pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks for your thoughtful comment Richard! cheers Bron Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesA very fine portrait; would be right at home on an old 33 1/3 album cover, or a cd case (today). 19 Sep 2007 1:09am @Viewfinder: Thanks Viewfinder I remember the old 33 1/3 days! (giving my age away) Sam has several solo tracks and might publish a cd of them one day so I'll suggest it @Laurie: Great minds! See Viewfinder's comment!
