This gorgeous cockatoo visits my garden every day - we have a close friendship... s/he comes to the window nodding and dancing showing me the beautiful yellow under-wings to convince me that s/he's worthy of a feed. I can walk within 2 feet of him/her. Their lifespan can match ours and they seem to mate for life.
What a friendly and pretty bird! You should find him/her a mate. :)

I love cockatoos, they are so affectionate and you are very lucky that it comes to you naturally! Great take and enjoy your time with this wonderful visitor ;)

Oh, how lucky you are Bron, to have such a beautiful bird visiting you. This is a superb capture, he looks so relaxed, he can obviously sence how kind you are.

@FC: Hi FC - Thanks for visiting! Yes I do put sed out for him and his family - the most he's brought was 14 one day!!! Ususally though it's just him and his mate. What a good idea - I'll hold it up to the window and see if he likes it :)))))
What a treat, to have such a wonderful suitor coming to call on you, each morning. Does his mate know of this? LOL.
